The Kassel plant at the Baunatal site has belonged to Volkswagen since 1958. It is now the second largest Volkswagen plant in Germany after Wolfsburg. With currently over 16,500 employees, the Kassel plant in the neighboring town of Baunatal is the largest employer in the northern Hesse region. Kassel is also home to the production of electric motors and hybrid transmissions.
Our 7 mm thick TM Mechanic PVC tiles in various colors were installed in this area as storage areas for various materials. The panels were laid as an isolated solution with the corresponding reference ramps and corners. The different colors serve to better coordinate the material flow and optimize storage spaces in production.
