TM Fitness is a durable and low-maintenance flooring solution designed for indoor use. It is characterized by its low installation height, high material density, and largely closed surface. The tiles are virtually impermeable to water, abrasion-resistant, and pressure-stable. This makes the flooring particularly suitable for areas where hygiene, easy cleaning, and durability are priorities, and where high elasticity or shock absorption is not required.
The Fitness Floor Compact is available in dimensions of 500 × 500 mm and 1,000 × 1,000 mm. Both versions are only 8 mm thick.
The 1,000 × 1,000 mm size allows for installation with relatively few joints, particularly in larger areas, thereby ensuring a smooth and uniform overall appearance. The more compact 500 × 500 mm tiles are easier to handle and offer advantages in smaller rooms, irregularly shaped areas, or floor plans with numerous cutouts.
The tiles are manufactured from PU-bonded ELT rubber granulate. First, blanks are pressed into a larger initial format. After the necessary curing and cooling period, the slabs are precisely machined to their final dimensions, including the interlocking edges. This process results in calibrated slabs with high dimensional accuracy and precisely finished edges.
The highly compacted rubber surface has a largely closed structure while also offering a pleasantly grippy feel. This makes it difficult for moisture and dirt to penetrate the surface, which simplifies regular cleaning and maintenance.
The individual planks are joined into a stable, continuous floor surface via precisely cut interlocking joints. A bevel on the plank edges has been deliberately omitted. This results in only very narrow hairline joints that are barely noticeable once the floor is installed. In solid-color versions, the transitions may remain visible as fine lines.
Application areas for TM Fitness:
Fitness studios (cardio areas, for spinning, training areas with ergometer, cross trainer or rowing machine, in lounge and cabin), personal training studios, home fitness areas.
Due to its thin material thickness of 8 mm and high density, TM Fitness naturally offers less elasticity and shock absorption than thicker training floor tiles. It is therefore not intended for areas with high requirements for fall protection, shock absorption, or joint protection.
Instead, the flooring truly shines in cardio and fitness areas, locker rooms, lounge areas, and private home gyms. Here, it offers a durable, hygienic, and low-maintenance flooring solution with a low installation height.
