TM Hidden Zip quickly creates a flexible and durable flooring surface for both indoor and outdoor use. Thanks to its clever interlocking system, the flooring can be installed as a floating floor—without any glue, screws, or clamps. TM Hidden Zip is also ideally suited for temporary applications, events, trade shows, and other temporary installations.
The panels are installed as a floating floor on a load-bearing subfloor and securely connected to one another via a concealed interlocking system. This quickly creates a seamless and durable training surface that is particularly well-suited for gyms, functional fitness areas, and other sports facilities. Another advantage: TM Hidden Zip can be removed, cleaned, and reinstalled in a different location as needed. This makes the system a cost-effective and resource-efficient solution for temporary training areas and events as well.
TM Hidden Zip can be installed in a cross-joint pattern, the classic checkerboard pattern, or in a one-third offset pattern. The interlocking puzzle joints are located beneath the surface, securely connecting the individual planks while remaining virtually invisible. All that remains visible is a uniform, high-quality joint pattern. Slightly rounded bevels on the edges further ensure a clean look and a harmonious overall appearance of the floor surface.
The slip-resistant surface ensures a secure footing, providing ideal conditions for a wide variety of athletic activities. At the same time, the elastic rubber flooring absorbs shock and contributes to a comfortable workout experience. It cushions impact and reduces footfall, movement, and rolling noises. This makes TM Hidden Zip ideal for gyms, training rooms, functional fitness areas, and numerous other sports facilities. Exercise machines and other equipment can also be positioned securely on the surface.
TM Hidden Zip is water-permeable and dries quickly. Liquids can seep through the panels and drain away instead of pooling on the surface. This makes the flooring suitable not only for indoor fitness and sports areas, but also for appropriate outdoor training areas and temporary outdoor applications. Any necessary cuts can be easily made with a jigsaw or circular saw.
TM Hidden Zip is made from PU-bonded rubber granules derived from the recycling of used tires (ELT—End-of-Life Tires). The material is elastic, durable, weather-resistant, and designed to withstand heavy loads. Its shock-absorbing properties make the flooring particularly well-suited for fitness and training areas, while also helping to protect the underlying surface from mechanical stress and damage.
Cleaning is also straightforward: Depending on the application, TM Hidden Zip can be cleaned, for example, with a high-pressure washer or a suitable brush cleaning machine.
The TM Hidden Zip is especially suitable for fitness, sports and free weight areas, but also for various outdoor areas, swimming pools, gardens and terraces.
The classic fitness floor is formed by joining square tiles together without tools to create a form-fitting, continuous carpet of tiles with a traditional joint pattern. The TM Hidden Zip can be installed indoors as well as outdoors. For temporarily used fitness areas, the fitness floor can be dismantled without damage and installed elsewhere.
The high-quality fitness floor is water-permeable and easy to maintain. It is optimized to absorb vibrations and shock events (impact of dumbbells) and provides good thermal insulation.
