The ideal fitness tile for free-weight and equipment areas in gyms.
TM Elastik, made of PU-bonded rubber granules and measuring 500 × 500 mm, is versatile for both indoor and outdoor use. It is suitable for fitness and training areas as well as for balconies, patios, and other appropriate outdoor spaces. The tiles are durable, elastic, slip-resistant, and resistant to frost and weathering.
Thanks to the precise interlocking edges, the panels quickly connect to form a stable surface. No adhesive or screws are required. The panels can be laid in a checkerboard pattern or a half-offset pattern. If necessary, the flooring can be expanded, modified, or completely removed. Individual panels can be easily replaced.
In fitness areas, the elastic rubber structure protects the subfloor from stress caused by exercise equipment and reduces impact when lighter weights are set down or dropped. At the same time, vibrations and structure-borne noise are dampened.
Despite its cushioning properties, the flooring provides a stable footing for controlled training movements. The rule of thumb is: the thicker the tile, the greater the elasticity and shock absorption.
Outdoors, the panels can be installed on many load-bearing surfaces, such as concrete, tile, wood, or suitable waterproofing membranes. An additional sub-structure is generally not necessary. This makes the flooring suitable for both new areas and the renovation of existing balconies and patios.
The open-cell structure allows rainwater to drain through the slab. Drainage channels on the underside facilitate water runoff along the existing slope. At the same time, the surface is comfortable to walk on, slip-resistant, and thermally insulating, and it reduces footfall noise.
Gyms, sports halls, fitness and cardio areas, weight and equipment rooms, free-weight and dumbbell areas, functional training areas, playgrounds and sports fields, sporting goods stores, outdoor areas such as balconies and terraces, playgrounds, etc.
The floor protection mats require little maintenance and are easy to clean. Indoors, vacuuming and damp mopping are usually sufficient; outdoors, sweeping or rinsing with water is enough. Their sturdy construction and reusability make these mats a durable and cost-effective solution for fitness and outdoor areas.
