Tripping, slipping and falling accidents are still among the most common workplace accidents.

But they can be avoided with the right flooring. A not uncommon reason for such accidents is flooring that is not appropriate for the workplace environment. For example, slippery surfaces in sales areas or wet rooms can quickly lead to accidents. Anti-slip floor coverings not only have to be slip-resistant, but often have to fulfill other properties as well. Therefore, there are many different types of applications and possibilities for anti-slip floor coverings. In a warehouse, on stairs or in heavily used passageways, anti-slip floor coverings with warning colors are often used. For example, there are also warning marking tapes that are also slip-resistant. Likewise, labor-intensive environments require special requirements for outdoor use.

Such floor coverings or corresponding cuttings for other substrates must be particularly robust in order to maintain the anti-slip effect even under varying weather conditions.
